New Delhi- March 6, 2013: Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal (Delhi State) today held a protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi against the recent atrocities on Bangladeshi Hindus. Hundreds of workers of VHP & Bajrang Dal held a strong protest and demanded security for Bangladeshi Hindus life and property.
Addressing the protestors advocate Prakash Sharma, national spokesperson-VHP said that minority Hindus are being targeted by Islamic fundamentalist elements in different areas of Noakhali, Chittagong, Barisal, Bagerhat and Gazipur but the governments & Human right groups are kept mum. He demanded relief camps by BSF in Border area for the safety and security of those approaching our borders and rehabilitation of those displaced inside Bangladesh.
According to shri Vinod Bansal, the media chief of VHP Delhi A memorandum to this effect has been given to the president of Bharat under a copy to the same to the President of Bangladesh, International commission for Human rights and the ministry of external affairs, government of Bharat for immediate action.
Many Office Bearers of VHP including the State Vice Persident Brij Mohan Sethi, Ujagar Singh & Jagannath Bansal, Gen Secretary Satyendra MOhan, secretary Rampal Singh, organising secretary Karuna Prakash, state Bajarang Dal chief Shiv Kumar, state Durga Vahini chief Sanjana Chaudhary and many others addressed the gathering. All presents pray to the god for the departed souls and early recovery of those got injuries
